During graduate school, Denisse had the opportunity to intern as a resident's advocate in senior living facilities throughout Alameda County. There she witnessed the need to educate residents and their families about different types of senior living options. In addition to her Ombudsman experience, Denisse has  extensive experience working with older adults in various roles including: Social Worker assistant in Adult Day Health Care Center,  Health Care advocate, and  Social Worker Care Manager.

 

After the completion of her Master's degree in Social Work, Denisse decided to form her own Senior Placement agency with a mission to educate, to provide support and guidance to older adults and their families when choosing the right home care that will meet their care needs.  Denisse's knowledge of the older care needs and senior living options enables her to advocate and negotiate with Senior Living facilities to make sure you or your loved one receives the correct level of care within their budget. Denisse is currently in the process of becoming a California Certified Administrator in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
